Sledding

We took the girls sledding. The hills we went to are pretty big. Mckenna said she prefers to go alone on the sled because she can go faster. She was flying and spinning down the hill. We had a lot of fun, especially when Kayla finally decided she wanted to do it. I guess this is one thing we couldn't do in AZ.

Kenna's Prince Charming

Tonight Mckenna and Jason went on a date to a daddy daughter valentines dance. I just think this is such a fun thing for the community to have. Mckenna has been talking about it for weeks. Kayla and I got some much needed one on one time which was really fun. I am not in the mood to write a lot tonight, but wanted to get some pictures up before I completely forget and end up posting valentines pictures in April.

Kayla dressed herself--I don't know what's with the red but she was very proud of matching!

Just a cute picture of Kayla! (notice the dress mom, thanks!)

I came home from skiing and this is what the girls did to entertain themselves. It was a game of jumping from one pillow to the next all the way down the hall. I wish a game like this would make me as happy as they were!

Those twigs reaching up out of the snow are actually the top branches of a little tree in our front yard.

That black dot near the center of the photo is our mailbox. Jason's car is parked in the driveway, and it looks like it's completely covered--no. But the snow is about the same height as his car.

More and More!

About 2 days after I posted these snow pictures we had a major storm that dropped about 1 foot more. The mailbox you see in the picture below was completely covered. I will take more pictures when I get the courage to go out in the cold.

Speaking of courage and cold. I am finding my courage in regards to the cold and snow lately very lacking. I started out enthusiastic about the snowfall, but I am starting to feel a little twinge of winter remorse. We are about half way done with winter-- Lets see how we do with round two.

This weather has a huge effect on 2 year olds! When the snow gets so deep that it is twice their size it must bring out some kind of deep rebellion within their little soul! I don't know if I'm going to survive my 2 year old!
