TA-DA

Mckenna had her gymnastics performance a few days ago. It was really funny to watch. Here are a few pictures since the video won't load right.

Cooking

I opened my silver ware drawer to get a spoon and there wasn't any in there. I thought, they couldn't all be in the sink or dishwasher. I went to see what the girls were doing and this is what I found. I asked Kayla, "what are you doing?" and she looked up at me and simply said, "I'm cooking." She also said, "yawansum?"

I figure it's time for a post. Sunday was Mother's day and it was so fun. My primary kids sang in church and they did so well. What was really fun was seeing Kenna up there as a little sunbeam trying so hard to keep up. I had to pull myself away from watching her and lead the whole primary. We went and bought Kenna a swimming suit a few days ago and she of course has been living in that every day. It's really warm here now, I just wish the pool would open. Kayla is wearing Kenna's old swimming suit (it's funny that it is almost too small for her).
I have been running a lot lately and actually have really come to enjoy it. Myabe just because it's just some much needed time alone. I am going to run a 5k this fall and I'm pretty excited about that. Right now Jase has been exploring many options with his job. We are strongly considering a transfer to the northern border in Maine. What a different life we would have there! It's looking more and more likely, but I would be lying if I said it didn't intimidate me a little. It's a little scary to just pick up everything and move that far away. Maybe just a little adventure for a time. It is pretty much completely opposite of everything here. It might just be what we need though! We will know more later!

The Things They Say

We haven't really been up to anything new, but Mckenna keeps me entertained by the way her little mind works. I love the imagination of little kids. The other day she told me, "mom, I know what stupid means," and I said, "ok, what does it mean?" She said, "It means that it hurts their feelings."

She came out of her play room very distraught because our TV receiver was having issues and making Dora turn on and off over and over again. She said, "mom, the TV won't stop shutting it's eyes and I'm trying to watch Dora." Sh

Then there is Kayla who is all over the place. She's too cute to get mad at her. Lately she has been pullin' these angry faces at me and then she runs away laughing like she was so tricky. This is her angry face. It is pretty funny!

Late Easter

Yes, I am just getting pictures from Easter up. It wasn't a huge event for us this year, but they did get a big bucket of candy and as you can see.. sunglasses. Thank you to grandma and grandpa Mathie for all the fun stuff you sent! They loved the color wonder stuff and they also loved the sidewalk chalk they got! I love that my girls are older enough to play together and honestly, nothing makes me happier!

Auburn

I came across this band called Auburn. I love this girls voice! I first heard her sing when I was at BYU-I and loved her performance! Out of curiosity I googled her name to see if she did more with singing since I had heard her and she is actually the lead singer of Auburn--a folk rock band! Check them out! I think they are great!
