Carlsbad Caverns

We have been pretty busy so far this summer. This past week we went to New Mexico to see Jason's brother graduate from the Border Patrol Academy. On the way we went to the Carlsbad Caverns. They were really amazing. They take you down in an elevator about 800 feet and then you explore the caverns along a mile long trail. It was really amazing to see how big they really are. The girls loved it. This is a cool picture...what you can't see is that the stalactite is hanging from a ceiling that is about 50 feet up. The other picture is just us going through a lower caved area.

After the caverns we went up to Artesia to see uncle Brian. I am glad we were able to go and support him. Jason got to pin his badge on and I think it was cool to see them together all dressed up in there uniforms.

You got to LOVE New Mexico!! Im so sad that for some reason when we lived there we never made it to Carlsbad Caverns. Everyone always told us how awesome it was. Your family is adorable!
