Bibbles

So when my parents were here my dad spotted a squirrel in the yard. No big deal, right? We see them every day. Well when he pointed it out to us we thought that looked like one fat squirrel. Turns out it was not a squirrel but a ground hog. He was really cute but he was eating all of my nice flowers. The girls loved seeing him come out and lay on the deck. They liked him so much (and he came out so often) that Mckenna named him Bibbles. Well, we explained that Bibbles couldn't stay in the yard. After a little drama the girls accepted this and we put a trap out. We caught him preatty quickly. We took him to a new place just down the street by the river in the woods. Now whenever we drive by there the girls yell, "Hiiiii Bibbles." Bibbles? Where do they come up with stuff.

Everything

Ok, we went to Utah, tiled our entryway and finished our basement. Then my parents came to visit and we went to Prince Edward Island for a few days. On top of that I started my new semester of school and have finished another class. This summer has been really busy and I can't really sit and play catch up. I'll post pictures and they can do the talking.

So much

I have severly neglected bloggling needless to say. There are two or three posts to come of specifics, but generally we have moved into our house, been to Utah and back, and my new semester of school has started. Busy doesn't begin to describe it all, but I'll explain more when I get pictures up so I can prove that I truly have been doing something and am not just being a lazy blogger (as if you care--maybe some of you do!).

In their own Way

I love the growing vocab of a young child. I'll add more when I can think of them. When I feel sad or mad--saying these outloud always makes me laugh. What do your kids say in their own way?

FLUM = Thumb

SHLOCLATE = chocolate

MARSH-E-LOWS= marshmallows

ImPOSTable = immpossible

SHOUP = soup

Mckenna's Computer

Kenna got a toy out and was pretending it was her laptop. She said, "It can play music, and it can record things, and it can SHOOT people." I need one of those kind of laptops!

Happy Birthday Mom/Grandma

These were taken with the webcam so they aren't that clear. Mckenna wanted to make sure I told you that she wrote "all the letters herself, except for the D."

I am trying to get a video to load.. stay tuned!

Motivation

I am totally stuck in a rut. You would think that spring itself would have the opposite effect on me. I am not sure what force it is. Maybe it is the anticipation of moving. I am a routine person. I do best in a set routine and since the snow melted my routine has drastically changed. In the winter I feverishly worked on school, skied when I could get out, and ran 3 miles a day at the rec center. I have finished my school and have a little break, there is no snow to ski on, and it seems that every time I plan to go run, it rains (the rec center closes early when the weather warms up). We will be moving in the next couple weeks so I guess my motivation to get going and feel as though I'm progressing is lacking because I know that if I set a routine now it will be shaken when we move. Until we move, I have to figure out how I'm going to make myself go with out the comfort of a routine. Lets see if I can.
